Angry Chair Brewing just celebrated its grand opening at a new location a few weeks ago, and now the business at its former space is ready to do the same. But you still can’t park on Fern Street.
Tallahassee-based Ology Brewing, located at 6401 N Florida Ave. in Seminole Heights, opens its doors for the first time this weekend, Friday-Sunday, Sept. 23-25. Seminole Heights’ newest brewery will be open from noon-midnight on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday.
There aren’t many details about grand opening festivities, but guests can expect Ology’s craft brews on tap, liquor and beer to-go, cocktails and food trucks alongside “a few more other surprises,” as a recent Instagram announcement states.
Ology Brewing has already made a name for itself in Tampa Bay’s craft beer scene by hosting tap takeovers at neighboring breweries, like Magnanimous Brewing, and participating in Tampa Bay Beer Week events earlier this year.
In addition to brewing its own craft beer—like the popular “Sensory Overload” hazy IPA and “Rainbow Colored Glasses” Berliner weisse sour—Ology also dabbles in liquor distilling, coffee roasting and hard seltzer manufacturing. While the menu for its upcoming Tampa location has yet to be released, its other taprooms serve a variety of craft cocktails, from Manhattans to old fashioneds, whiskey sours and martinis.
